Tim Benish - MBA, MSISA, CISSP, CISM
Is an Information Security professional located in St. Louis, Missouri. He holds a Masters of Science in Information Security and Assurance from Norwich University and an MBA from Maryville University as well as degrees in Psychology and Liberal Studies.
He is a Certified Information Security Manager through ISACA and is working towards the CISSP and OSCP certifications.
He has worked for companies such as Nielsen Media Research and Thomson Reuters, as well as various companies in the financial services industry.
He also served as an adjunct professor at East Central College and taught martial arts professionally for several years.
He has served on the advisory group for SecureWorld St. Louis and attends information security conferences as often as his schedule permits (Defcon, BsidesLV, BsidesSTL, Showmecon, Secureworld). he also serves on the moderation team for the 2600 magazine facebook group (77,000+ members)
In his free time, he enjoys Maker projects, writing, hiking, camping, and reading.
